To Lida Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BC BDD EE

THE only one whom Lida thou canst loveA
-
Thou claim'st and rightly claim'st for only theeB
He too is wholly thine since doomed to roveC
-
Far from thee in life's turmoils nought I seeB
Save a thin veil through which thy form I viewD
As though in clouds with kindly smile and trueD
-
It cheers me like the stars eterne that gleamE
Across the northern lights' far flick'ring beamE
