The Beautiful Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BA BC DC D E FE FG AG A

Now I leave this cottage lowlyA
-
Where my love hath made her homeB
And with silent footstep slowlyA
-
Through the darksome forest roamB
Luna breaks through oaks and bushesC
-
Zephyr hastes her steps to meetD
And the waving birch tree blushesC
-
Scattering round her incense sweetD
-
Grateful are the cooling breezesE
-
Of this beauteous summer nightF
Here is felt the charm that pleasesE
-
And that gives the soul delightF
Boundless is my joy yet HeavenG
-
Willingly I'd leave to theeA
Thousand such nights were one givenG
-
By my maiden loved to meA
