Minstrel's Book - Discord Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCDCDCECEC

WHEN by the brook his strainA
Cupid is flutingB
And on the neighboring plainA
Mayors disputingB
There turns the ear ere longB
Loving and tenderC
Yet to the noise a songB
Soon must surrenderC
Loud then the flute notes gladD
Sound 'mid war's thunderC
If I grow raving madD
Is it a wonderC
Flutes sing and trumpets brayE
Waxing yet strongerC
If then my senses strayE
Wonder no longerC
