May Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BA CD ED F F G HG HE IE I I

LIGHT and silv'ry cloudlets hoverA
-
In the air as yet scarce warmB
Mild with glimmer soft tinged overA
-
Peeps the sun through fragrant balmC
Gently rolls and heaves the oceanD
-
As its waves the bank o'erflowE
And with ever restless motionD
-
Moves the verdure to and froF
-
Mirror'd brightly far belowF
-
What is now the foliage movingG
-
Air is still and hush'd the breezeH
Sultriness this fullness lovingG
-
Through the thicket from the treesH
Now the eye at once gleams brightlyE
-
See the infant band with mirthI
Moves and dances nimbly lightlyE
-
As the morning gave it birthI
-
Flutt'ring two and two o'er earthI
