God, Soul, And World. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD EE FFGG HHII

Who trusts in GodA
Fears not His rodA
-
This truth may be by all believedB
Whom God deceives is well deceivedB
-
How when and where No answer comes from highC
Thou wait'st for the Because and yet thou ask'st not WhyC
-
If the whole is ever to gladden theeD
That whole in the smallest thing thou must seeD
-
Water its living strength first showsE
When obstacles its course opposeE
-
Transparent appears the radiant airF
Though steel and stone in its breast it may bearF
At length they'll meet with fiery powerG
And metal and stones on the earth will showerG
-
Whate'er a living flame may surroundH
No longer is shapeless or earthly boundH
'Tis now invisible flies from earthI
And hastens on high to the place of its birthI
