Book Of Parables - It Is Good Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BA BCCDD EEFFGGCC

IN Paradise while moonbeams play'dA
-
Jehovah found in slumber deepB
Adam fast sunk He gently laidA
-
Eve near him she too fell asleepB
There lay they now on earth's fair shrineC
God's two most beauteous thoughts divineC
When this He saw He cried 'Tis GoodD
And scarce could move from where He stoodD
-
No wonder that our joy's completeE
While eye and eye responsive meetE
When this blest thought of rapture moves usF
That we're with Him who truly loves usF
And if He cries Good let it beG
'Tis so for both it seems to meG
Thou'rt clasp'd within these arms of mineC
Dearest of all God's thoughts divineC
