Book Of Parables - In The Koran With Strange Delight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDDEEFF

In the Koran with strange delightA
A peacock's feather met my sightA
Thou'rt welcome in this holy placeB
The highest prize on earth's wide faceB
As in the stars of heaven in theeC
God's greatness in the small we seeC
For he whose gaze whole worlds bath bless'dD
His eye hath even here impress'dD
And the light down in beauty dress'dD
So that e'en monarchs cannot hopeE
In splendour with the bird to copeE
Meekly enjoy thy happy lotF
And so deserve that holy spotF
