Blindman's Buff Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BCC B DD EFG E HH CIJ C

OH my Theresa dearA
Thine eyes I greatly fearA
-
Can through the bandage seeB
Although thine eyes are boundC
By thee I'm quickly foundC
-
And wherefore shouldst thou catch but meB
-
Ere long thou held'st me fastD
With arms around me castD
-
Upon thy breast I fellE
Scarce was thy bandage goneF
When all my joy was flownG
-
Thou coldly didst the blind repelE
-
He groped on ev'ry sideH
His limbs he sorely triedH
-
While scoffs arose all roundC
If thou no love wilt giveI
In sadness I shall liveJ
-
As if mine eyes remain'd still boundC
