Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLM

As I glance through the windowA
Bags of roses have turned to pillow ashesB
The love we once sharedC
Has turned to a burden of cursesD

Years back I was called darlingH
Forgetting to know we share an unbroken vowI
From morning 'til nightJ
I am beating like a laborerK

Poet's note: I wrote this poem as a result of a broken relationship, however, the message portrays the enthusiasm of love at first sight that leads to emotional trauma of love.
