Happy was she before the newsA
Laughed heart out before her woesB
She tumbled and tossedC
With her gorgeous son as they playedD
When will Katrina smile againE
-
How could such news pass her byF
She hadn t gotten a windG
She had been playing with her ladH
The breaking news broke herI
When will Katrina smile againE
-
There had been a serious attackJ
In the camp where Kibby workedK
It had happened in the darkL
The soldiers were attackedM
Majority left for the deadN
When will Katrina smile againE
-
She checked the listO
Her eyes full of mistO
Here was among the deadN
Luscious Kibby Katrina s belovedP
When will Katrina smile againE

She wanted to cryF
She wanted to dieF
His son thought it was a lieF
Down on the ground she liesQ
