Another Imitation Of Anacreon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDDEEFFGGHIJJDD KKLLMMNN

PRONE on my couch I calmly sleptA
Against my wont A little childB
Awoke me as he gently creptA
And beat my door A tempest wildB
Was raging dark and cold the nightC
Have pity on my naked plightC
He begged and ope thy door Thy nameD
I asked admitting him The sameD
Anon I'll tell but first must dryE
My weary limbs then let me tryE
My mois'ened bow Despite my fearF
The hearth I lit then drew me nearF
My guest and chafed his fingers coldG
Why fear I thought Let me be boldG
No Polyphemus he what harmH
In such a child Then I'll be calmI
The playful boy drew out a dartJ
Shook his fair locks and to my heartJ
His shaft he launch'd Love is my nameD
He thankless cried I hither cameD
To tame thee In thine ardent painK
Of Cupid think and young ClimeneK
Ah now I know thee little scampL
Ungrateful cruel boy DecampL
Cupid a saucy caper cutM
Skipped through the door and as it shutM
My bow he taunting cried is soundN
Thy heart poor comrade feels the woundN
