Good Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFG HHAACC

Little baby lay your headA
On your pretty cradle bedA
Shut your eye peeps now the dayB
And the light are gone awayB
All the clothes are tucked in tightC
Little baby dear good nightC
-
Yes my darling well I knowD
How the bitter wind doth blowD
And the winter's snow and rainE
Patter on the window paneE
But they cannot come in hereF
To my little baby dearG
-
For the window shutteth fastH
Till the stormy night is pastH
And the curtains warm are spreadA
Round about her cradle bedA
So till morning shineth brightC
Little baby dear good nightC
