Lazy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABCCCB CCCDCCCD EEEFGGGF HHHIJJJI

Some men enjoy the constant strifeA
Of days with work and worry rifeA
But that is not my dream of lifeA
I think such men are crazyB
For me a life with worries fewC
A job of nothing much to doC
Just pelf enough to see me throughC
I fear that I am lazyB
-
On winter mornings cold and drearC
When six o'clock alarms I hearC
'Tis then I love to shift my earC
And hug my downy pillowsD
When in the shade it's ninety threeC
No job in town looks good to meC
I'd rather loaf down by the seaC
And watch the foaming billowsD
-
Some people think the world's a schoolE
Where labor is the only ruleE
But I'll not make myself a muleE
And don't you ever doubt itF
I know that work may have its useG
But still I feel that's no excuseG
For turning it into abuseG
What do you think about itF
-
Let others fume and sweat and boilH
And scratch and dig for golden spoilH
And live the life of work and toilH
Their lives to labor givingI
But what is gold when life is spedJ
And life is short as has been saidJ
And we are such a long time deadJ
I'll spend my life in livingI
