The Sunflower Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCD CDEDFFD

Eagle of flowers I see thee standA
And on the sun's noon glory gazeB
With eye like his thy lids expandA
And fringe their disk with golden raysB
Though fix'd on earth in darkness rooted thereC
Light is thine element thy dwelling airC
Thy prospect heavenD
-
So would mine eagle soul descryC
Beyond the path where planets runD
The light of immortalityE
The splendour of creation's sunD
Though sprung from earth and hast'ning to the tombF
In hope a flower of paradise to bloomF
I took to heavenD
