Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHHAAII JJKKLLMMNN

There is a land of every land the prideA
Beloved by heaven o'er all the world besideA
Where brighter suns dispense serener lightB
And milder moons emparadise the nightB
A land of beauty virtue valour truthC
Time tutor'd age and love exalted youthC
The wand'ring mariner whose eye exploresD
The wealthiest isles the most enchanting shoresD
Views not a realm so bountiful and fairE
Nor breathes the spirit of a purer airE
In ev'ry clime the magnet of his soulF
Touch'd by remembrance trembles to that poleF
For in this land of heaven's peculiar graceG
The heritage of nature's noblest raceG
There is a spot of earth supremely blestH
A dearer sweeter spot than all the restH
Where man creation's tyrant casts asideA
His sword and sceptre pageantry and prideA
While in his soften'd looks benignly blendI
The sire the son the husband brother friendI
Here woman reigns the mother daughter wifeJ
Strews with fresh flowers the narrow path of lifeJ
In the clear heaven of her delightful eyeK
An angel guard of loves and graces lieK
Around her knees domestic duties meetL
And fire side pleasures gambol at her feetL
Where shall that land that spot of earth be foundM
Art thou a man a patriot look aroundM
Oh thou shalt find howe'er thy footsteps roamN
That land thy country and that spot thy homeN
