Simples Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA ABAB CDCD EFGF

O bella biondaA
Sei come l'ondaA
-
-
Of cool sweet dew and radiance mildA
The moon a web of silence weavesB
In the still garden where a childA
Gathers the simple salad leavesB
-
A moondew stars her hanging hairC
And moonlight kisses her young browD
And gathering she sings an airC
Fair as the wave is fair art thouD
-
Be mine I pray a waxen earE
To shield me from her childish croonF
And mine a shielded heart for herG
Who gathers simples of the moonF
