I Hear An Army Charging Upon The Land Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCDEDFGHGI

XXXVIA
-
I hear an army charging upon the landB
And the thunder of horses plunging foam about their kneesC
Arrogant in black armour behind them standB
Disdaining the reins with fluttering ships the charioteersC
They cry unto the night their battle nameD
I moan in sleep when I hear afar their whirling laughterE
They cleave the gloom of dreams a blinding flameD
Clanging clanging upon the heart as upon an anvilF
They come shaking in triumph their long green hairG
They come out of the sea and run shouting by the shoreH
My heart have you no wisdom thus to despairG
My love my love my love why have you left me aloneI
