Riouperoux Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB CDAD

High and solemn mountains guard RiouperouxA
Small untidy village where the river drives a millB
Frail as wood anemones white and frail were youC
And drooping a little like the slender daffodilB
-
Oh I will go to France again and tramp the valley throughC
And I will change these gentle clothes for clog and corduroyD
And work with the mill hands of black RiouperouxA
And walk with you and talk with you like any other boyD
