The Horizon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKDDGLMNGOJ CPHQRI see that horizon hold | A |
The tryst of my Sky | B |
And its lover The earth | C |
I find there the saturation | D |
Of their awing love | E |
Posing purple between them both | F |
Oh How I feel that colour | G |
In the heart of my own | H |
So I track their trail | I |
To witness them kiss and fall | J |
To see that viridity hold my blue | K |
But I run and run | D |
Just to watch their love turn crimson | D |
To watch them rifle farther more | G |
And so faster I chase | L |
With tears of loss in my eyes | M |
With the sense of yet another broken romance | N |
And the mayhem that comes after | G |
But dead there I stand then | O |
For I hit the end of all | J |
The cease of the Earth | C |
Where I gain how the horizon deludes | P |
How the saturation was my own | H |
So I smile then and turn | Q |
Back to you where I belong | R |
