Titan Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFF FGHIJK CLBACBM LBNBOO PPQRFF ASCHDTFU

I have learnt a new songA
Er the song of lonelinessB
I have made a new armourC
Brass is the medal of lonelinessB
I have worn a new maskD
it is ever that of a beautiful smileE
I have covered the true meF
The loneliness in meF
-
When my steps arrive at the cityF
It is the march of a great merry bandG
When I step behind my locked doorH
the band disappears and I the soloist am leftI
As I write with quill my poems of love and friendship to be publishedJ
The charcoal I use is mixed with hot tears for my inkK
-
Nothing good soever lasts foreverC
Same applies to people in lifeL
I've learnt not to depend on the good for happinessB
For they never stay that longA
I Wear loneliness as a suit of armourC
So that when they move on I am not left defencelessB
I pride my self in this so I don't get humbled when left aloneM
-
O'er the wind atop my sail of lifeL
Fresh faces across the mast of a thousand fleetsB
They sail with the wind but I against itN
Ships of colours pass by but do not trade spicesB
maybe my spices aren't good enoughO
Aye I haven't made them fake enoughO
-
I write letters saying hello and how are youP
My replies come back but no questions for me tooP
Someday I may understand how to feel againQ
But for now my armour is my greatest domainR
I see the world as it is more than ever and more clearlyF
An empty shell and I a stranger who came too earlyF
-
I have composed a new songA
A song of prideS
I have modified my armourC
It is thicker than ever beforeH
I have removed my maskD
My heart does the lying this timeT
I leave un clad the true meF
But who am IU
