Blue skies, empty so soon, I stare so hard but it's still devoid of the moon

I go for a run early at morning, i get to see the sunrise just over the mountain crest.. I need to remind myself that somehere in the world, our son is nestled into your chest.

They say distance is a barrier too hard to cross
But we learnt to build a bridge and get across
It isn't the time apart that gets to me
It's just a simple math, i miss a big part of me
And in times like this, i really appreciate the night
Coz whether i open or close my eyes, the universe brings u to my sight
