She was a widow Yes she wasA
She lost her husband about a year agoB
Yet she remained a dedicated mother to four sonsC
But she still had her fears Ones so strongD
And she gave life to them insteadE
-
Her notorious son has been jailedF
He d threatened another with a knifeG
You cannot bring up these kidsH
Give them to us her mother in law words resoundedF
I won t she refused I m not losing any of my boysI
-
She d sworn to protect all four of them and bringJ
them up in a right wayK
But now it looked like she failedF
Kaanu her oldest son has been jailedF
I feel disgusted how could my own son try to kill anotherL
This boy will not kill me she lamentedF
-
It was a loud ringJ
I heard Kaanu was put in jail for stabbing a personM
He was her brother her sons uncle and he sounded ridiculousN
He often called to ask they were in good healthO
after she was widowedF
But why has he turned a mocker today She wonderedF
-
It was a threat she corrected instantly in aP
harsh toneQ
He was her younger brother she could speak to him in that mannerL
Do you want me to make a good call he genuinely asked this timeR
No she replied after a moment of deep thoughtF
Ok he agreed and ended the callS
Oh what have I done She regretedF
My Kaanu won t be released today because of meT
I love my boy but I still want him to learn some lessonsC
Mummy her youngest called Guess whose back He asked grinning cheerfullyT
Kaanu The widow replied feeling unsure if she was happy or sadF
-
She was in a deep thought maybe a trance caused by fears and worriesU
Her oldest Kaanu had just returned home from schoolV
He was studying to be a writer he wasn t in jailW
Mummy I was nominated for a student awardF
He was excited to share the newsX
All of his dreams and hopes he sharedF
-
She watched silently and then realized that her son was on a path of GreatnessN
Nothing short of that she was sureY
But she couldn t see it before now she was busy with her fearsZ
Feeding and nurturing them ignoring her sons and their dreamsA2
Forgetting she had a duty to keep them on a better pathB2
-
She learnt a lesson that dayF
Fears and worries were destructiveC2
She had to conquer themD2
Those strange entities were not invited on this new life which she d foundF
It had to be Greatness Nothing lessE2
-
Fears and worries are enemies to GreatnessN
