Legacy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GHIJK LMNOP QRSTU

LEGACYA
When the health of our breathB
Unhand our feeble soulsC
Behind the grave we can live againD
And if a whisper to ears countsE
Send now your fist for the jobF
-
On the slate of men's cradle mindsG
Works done by many wordsH
Dusters of time can eraseI
What the fist serves the heart to wroughtJ
Time's strongest blow holds no worthK
-
It counts to lock the eyes and walkL
Counts most if they are blindM
For where life's blessing lurksN
only the heart can accessO
Legacy oh legacy eyes hold no lightP
-
Castles that kiss the sky the wind hatesQ
A hut built in a heart is a wind breakR
Here men don't dieS
While death in their graves roarsT
They wake to scorn his foolishnessU
