Rhyme Scheme: ABABCACADEDEBFBF

He married you for moneyA
But you said I do cause you truly loved himB
Huh ain't that funnyA
When you met him he didn't seem grimB
The things people do for loveC
The things people do for moneyA
Love is like a doveC
Why does this love have to be so phonyA
You sit and wonder whyD
He sits with all your cashE
But all that comes out is a sighD
You wanna confront him but you don't want him to lashE
You think back before you met himB
Life was fun while it lastedF
Now you sit there slimB
And very exhaustedF

Poet's note: The story is about a woman and her relationship, I wrote it because it came to mind, this poems means personally nothing to me but the simple fact that this happens a lot.
