Captivity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEF GHI DAJ

The ship has set sailA
On a sea so troubledB
Amidst wailing windsC
-
Behold there is a tempest in sightD
And we are all casualtiesE
All on board the shipF
-
Impunity has dined with hawks of the airG
And sharks of the seaH
Like an albatross in this corroded marineI
-
It's a long sail that we are berthedD
By the rivers of Babylon to wailA
In remembrance of a fallen ZionJ
