Poet's note: The poem is a direct call to the stoppage of endemic immorality in my country Nigeria. It is deeply rooted in corruption and no regards to entrenched value system.
Two major events were used in dramatic effect in the poem: 1. Egwu Eke (Eke Day Dance) an annual cultural cum traditional event held in Ojoto that is now a tourist attraction. 2. Egwu Eke (Python Dance) an annual military security service in Nigeria, which has much been bastardised eroding the good intention of it's formation.
It is a call to new national rebirth where everyone feels important, safe and happy whilst working towards propsperity.
