The Long Journey Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGHII

Life is but a long journeyA
not for all just for the luckyA
others met death when life beginB
When there are pure and have no sinB
While for me I have seen many thingsC
My eyes have witness life's wingsC
Good and evil there is none I haven't feelD
I can't cry when one dies with a lot of zealD
because now my eyes have turned blindE
Just know my heart can't feel the windE
and my soul has overgrown beyond oldF
The wisdom gained is more than goldF
Within me the soul seeks to leaveG
All my enemies I have long forgiveH
It's a petty that I was a slaveI
Now my spirit hangs close to the graveI
