Who is Ian Otieno Okado

Ian O Otieno is a Kenyan poet. Firstborn among three siblings. He was born on 27th March 1999 in Nyanza province, Kenya. He lived with both his parents in Kakamega county where he also schooled. He began his education in 2005,he attended Mumias Muslim Primary school,in Mumias and did his K.C.P.E in 2013. In 2014 he joined Mwitoti Secondary where he studied for a year and transfered to St Stephen's Shatsala Secondary School where he did his K.C.S.E. in 2017. He join the university of Kabianga,Kericho two years later. He is currently undertaking a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management. His poetry passion began when he was young,he loved acting and reading Shakespeare's sonnets.
