June. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHAH

Throw open wide your golden gatesA
O poet landed month of JuneB
And waft me on your spicy breathC
The melody of birds in tuneB
-
O fairest palace of the threeD
Wherein Queen Summer holdeth swayE
I gaze upon your leafy courtsF
From out the vestibule of MayE
-
I fain would tread your garden walksG
Or in your shady bowers reclineH
Then open wide your golden gatesA
And make them mine and make them mineH
