Prayer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDBEFBGHIJKLMNOLP QRSRTUVWX

White O white faceA
from disenchanted daysB
wither alike dark roseC
and fiery baysB
no gift within our handsD
nor strength to praiseB
only defeat and silenceE
though we lift hands disenchantedF
of small strength nor raiseB
branch of the laurelG
or the light of torchH
but fold the garmentI
on the riven locksJ
yet hear all merciful and touchK
the fore head dim unlit of pride and thoughtL
Mistress be nearM
Give back the glamour to our willN
the thought give back the toolO
the chisel once we wroughtL
things not unworthyP
sandal and steel claspQ
silver and steel the coatR
with white leaf patternS
at the arm and throatR
silver and metal hammered for the ridgeT
of shield and helmet rimU
white silver with the darker hammered inV
belt staff and magic spear shaftW
with the gilt spark at the point and hiltX
