Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD BB AA AA EE FF GH

Though that men do call it dotageA
Who loveth not wanteth courageA
-
And whosoever may love getB
From Venus sure he must it fetB
-
Or else from her which is her heirC
And she to him must seem most fairC
-
With eye and mind doth both agreeD
There is no boot there must it beD
-
The eye doth look and representB
But mind afformeth with full consentB
-
Thus am I fixed without grudgeA
Mine eye with heart doth me so judgeA
-
Love maintaineth all noble courageA
Who love disdaineth is all of the villageA
-
Such lovers though they take painE
It were pity they should obtainE
-
For often times where they do sueF
They hinder lovers that would be trueF
-
For whoso loveth should love but onceG
Change whoso will I will be noneH
