Nobyll men then wold suer enserchB
All ways wherby thay myght it rechC

But envy reynyth with such dysdayneA
And causith lovers owtwardly to refrayneA

Which puttes them to more and moreD
Inwardly most grevous and soreD
-
The faut in whome I cannot settE
But let them tell which love doth gettE
-
To lovers I put now suer this caceF
Which of ther loves doth get them graceF
-
And unto them which doth it knowA
Better than do I I thynk it soA
