The Pursuit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEEFEGEHEII

LORD what a busy restless thingA
Hast Thou made manB
Each day and hour he is on wingA
Rests not a spanB
Then having lost the sun and lightC
By clouds surpris'dD
He keeps a commerce in the nightC
With air disguis'dD
Hadst Thou given to this active dustE
A state untir'dE
The lost son had not left the huskF
Nor home desir'dE
That was Thy secret and it isG
Thy mercy tooE
For when all fails to bring to blissH
Then this must doE
Ah Lord and what a purchase will that beI
To take us sick that sound would not take TheeI
