The Morning-watch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABAABAACAAAAACDAEA AADFGFHIJHGKK

O joys infinite sweetness with what flow'rsA
And shoots of glory my soul breaks and budsA
All the long hoursA
Of night and restB
Through the still shroudsA
Of sleep and cloudsA
This dew fell on my breastB
Oh how it bloodsA
And spirits all my earth Hark In what ringsA
And hymning circulations the quick worldC
Awakes and singsA
The rising windsA
And falling springsA
Birds beasts all thingsA
Adore him in their kindsA
Thus all is hurl'dC
In sacred hymns and order the great chimeD
And symphony of nature Prayer isA
The world in tuneE
A spirit voiceA
And vocal joysA
Whose echo is heav'n's blissA
O let me climbD
When I lie down The pious soul by nightF
Is like a clouded star whose beams though saidG
To shed their lightF
Under some cloudH
Yet are aboveI
And shine and moveJ
Beyond that misty shroudH
So in my bedG
That curtain'd grave though sleep like ashes hideK
My lamp and life both shall in thee abideK
