To Whom? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD BEBEFAFA GHGHIJIJ

Awake upon a couch of painA
I see a star betwixt the treesB
Across yon darkening field of caneA
Comes slow and soft the evening breezeB
My curtain's folds are faintly stirredC
And moving lightly in her restD
I hear the chirrup of a birdC
That dreameth in some neighboring nestD
-
Last night I took no note of theseB
How it was passed I scarce can sayE
'T was not in prayers to Heaven for easeB
'T was not in wishes for the dayE
Impatient tears and passionate sighsF
Touched as with fire the pulse of painA
I cursed and cursed the wildering eyesF
That burned this fever in my brainA
-
Oh blessings on the quiet hourG
My thoughts in calmer current flowH
She is not conscious of her powerG
And hath no knowledge of my woeH
Perhaps if like yon peaceful starI
She looked upon my burning browJ
She would not pity from afarI
But kiss me as the breeze does nowJ
