Sonnet 15 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCADDAEFGHIF

True Christian tender husband gentle SireA
A stricken household mourns thee but its lossB
Is Heaven's gain and thine upon the crossB
God hangs the crown the pinion and the lyreC
And thou hast won them all Could we desireA
To quench that diadem's celestial lightD
To hush thy song and stay thy heavenward flightD
Because we miss thee by this autumn fireA
Ah no ah no chant on soar on Reign onE
For we are better thou art happier thusF
And haply from the splendor of thy throneG
Or haply from the echoes of thy psalmH
Something may fall upon us like the calmI
To which thou shalt hereafter welcome usF
