Sonnet 12 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBABCBCDDEFEF

What gossamer lures thee now What hope what nameA
Is on thy lips What dreams to fruit have grownB
Thou who hast turned ONE Poet heart to stoneB
Is thine yet burning with its seraph flameA
Let me give back a warning of thine ownB
That falling from thee many moons agoC
Sank on my soul like the prophetic moanB
Of some young Sibyl shadowing her own woeC
The words are thine and will not do thee wrongD
I only bind their solemn charge to songD
Thy tread is on a quicksand oh be wiseE
Nor in the passionate eagerness of youthF
MISTAKE THY BOSOM SERPENT'S GLITTERING EYESE
FOR THE CALM LIGHTS OF REASON AND OF TRUTHF
