Sonnet. Vvere Thy Heart Soft As Thou Art Faire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGG

VVere thy heart soft as thou art faireA
Thou wer't a wonder past compareA
But frozen Love and fierce disdainB
By their extremes thy graces stainB
Cold coyness quenches the still firesC
Which glow in Lovers warm desiresC
And scorn like the quick Lightnings blazeD
Darts death against affections gazeD
O Heavens what prodigy is thisE
When Love in Beauty buried isF
Or that dead pity thus should beG
Tomb'd in a living crueltyG
