Sic Vita Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEEFFGG

Like to the falling of a starA
Or as the flights of eagles areA
Or like the fresh spring's gaudy hueB
Or silver drops of morning dewB
Or like a wind that chafes the floodC
Or bubbles which on water stoodD
Even such is man whose borrowed lightE
Is straight called in and paid to nightE
The wind blows out the bubble diesF
The spring entombed in autumn liesF
The dew dries up the star is shotG
The flight is past and man forgotG
