Psalm I. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBBBCCBBDDEEBBFFGG BBHI

The man is blest whose feet not treadA
By wicked counsailes ledA
Nor stands in that perverted wayB
In which the Sinners strayB
Nor joynes himselfe unto the chaireB
Where Scorners seated areB
But in God's Law both dayes and nightsC
To meditate delightsC
He shall be like a Planted TreeB
We neere the Rivers seeB
Whose branches by their moisture springD
And fruits in season bringD
No parching droughts his leaf invadeE
Or make his blossome fadeE
For God will his indeavours blesseB
With prosperous successeB
But wicked men themselves shall findF
Like chaff blow'n by the windF
Nor in the finall Judgment mustG
Stand up among the JustG
For God the righteous guides and knowesB
The path wherein he goesB
When wayes of Sinners perish shallH
In their eternall fallI
