Harps We Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DBEB FGHG

The harp we love hath a royal burstA
Its strings are mighty forest treesB
And branches swaying to and froC
Are fingers sounding symphoniesB
-
The harp we love hath a solemn soundD
And rocks amongst the shallow seasB
Are strings from which the rolling wavesE
Draw forth their stirring harmoniesB
-
The harp we love hath a low sweet voiceF
Its strings are in the bosom deepG
And Love will press those hidden chordsH
When all the baser passions sleepG
