Alfred Tennyson Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACACCDEFGGF

The silvery dimness of a happy dreamA
I've known of late Methought where Byron moansB
Like some wild gulf in melancholy zonesB
I passed tear blinded Once a lurid gleamA
Of stormy sunset loitered on the seaC
While travelling troubled like a straitened streamA
The voice of Shelley died away from meC
Still sore at heart I reached a lake lit leaC
And then the green mossed glades with many a groveD
Where lies the calm which Wordsworth used to loveE
And lastly Locksley Hall from whence did riseF
A haunting song that blew and breathed and blewG
With rare delights 'Twas there I woke and knewG
The sumptuous comfort left in drowsy eyesF
