Thanks Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDDD EFEF GHGH BDBD

HER griefs were the hoursA
When my struggle was soreB
Her joys were the powersA
That the climber upboreB
-
Her home is the boundlessC
Free ocean that seemsD
To rock calm and soundlessD
My galleon of dreamsD
-
Half hers are the glancingE
Creations that throngF
With pageant and dancingE
The ways of my songF
-
My fires when they dwindleG
Are lit from her brandH
Men see them rekindleG
Nor guess by whose handH
-
Of thanks to requite herB
No least thought is hersD
And therefore I write herB
Once thanks in a verseD
