Rhyme Scheme: AABCDCEFFFG GFFF FFFFHHHF IJJJ JJ KKK CCC

Moon of leavesA
Moon of the falling leavesA
To you I bring the slippersB
of the sunC
That you may dance upon theD
floor of sunC
My lady carries sun within her eyesE
Moon of the UnrevealedF
Moon of the gold encrusted shieldF
To you I bring the fragmentF
of my prayerG
-
Moon of the crinkled hairG
Tell me will my lady yieldF
Eyes and mouth and breasts unsealedF
Will my lady yieldF
-
Moon of the yellow streaked with redF
Moon that the sun would lead to bedF
Moon with the death's headF
More than deadF
Why do you frighten the Goddess of LoveH
Whose frail white fingers are moving aboveH
The lover's white body lost in his loveH
Moon you are more than deadF
-
Moon of the ermine loist in the snowI
Moon of the frozen furbelowJ
Moon of the nothingness here belowJ
Moon you must goJ
-
It is the Sun that tells you soJ
Moon you must goJ
-
And I was dark beneath the moonK
And you were dark beneath the moonK
And we were dark beneath the moonK
-
Now I am gold beneath the sunC
Now you are gold beneath the sunC
Now we are gold beneath the SunC
