At The Ship-s Rail Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFGF

The blue sea bends to the shipA
Like a dancer with skirts of laceB
Wide diaphanous laces that curl and dipA
In the ardent wind's embraceB
-
Little rainbows dash at the playC
And die of joy in the sunD
While over and under the long bright dayC
The sparkling footsteps runD
-
Lovely melodiousE
Is the sound of the dance on the seaF
Softly the white robes trail and tossG
Over blue waves that fleeF
