Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF HIJI KLML NDAB

Would you not be in TryonA
Now that the spring is hereB
When mocking birds are praisingC
The fresh the blossomy yearD
-
Look on the leafy carpetE
Woven of winter's brownsF
Iris and pink azaleasG
Flutter their gaudy gownsF
-
The dogwood spreads white meshesH
So white and light and highI
To catch the drifting sunlightJ
Out of the cobalt skyI
-
The pointed beech and mapleK
The pines dark tufted tallL
Pattern with many colorsM
The mountain's purple wallL
-
Hark what a rushing torrentN
Of crystal song falls sheerD
Would you not be in TryonA
Now that the spring is hereB
