God Bless America Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJ KLMNOFPE

Here they go againA
The Yanks in their armoured paradeB
Chanting their ballads of joyC
As they gallop across the big worldD
Praising America's GodE
-
The gutters are clogged with the deadF
The ones who couldn't join inG
The others refusing to singH
The ones who are losing their voiceI
The ones who've forgotten the tuneJ
-
The riders have whips which cutK
Your head rolls onto the sandL
Your head is a pool in the dirtM
Your head is a stain in the dustN
Your eyes have gone out and your noseO
Sniffs only the pong of the deadF
And all the dead air is aliveP
With the smell of America's GodE
