The Vacant Lot Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIH

Mrs Coley s three flat brickA
Isn t here any moreB
All done with seeing her fat little formC
Burst out of the basement doorB
And with seeing her African son in lawD
Rightful heir to the throneE
With his great white strong cold squares of teethF
And his little eyes of stoneE
And with seeing the squat fat daughterG
Letting in the menH
When majesty has gone for the dayI
And letting them out againH
