Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDEFGG CCHCHDIJKCLKHHM HNHOCHNNIP QRINS

There s a truth limits manA
A truth prevents his going any fartherB
The world is changingC
The world knows it s changingC
Heavy is the sorrow of the dayD
The old have the look of doomE
The young mistake their fate in that lookF
That is truthG
But it isn t all truthG
-
-
Life has meaningC
And I do not know the meaningC
Even when I felt it were meaninglessH
I hoped and prayed and sought a meaningC
It wasn t all frolic poesyH
There were dues to payD
Summoning Death and GodI
I d a wild dare to tackle ThemJ
Death proved meaningless without LifeK
Yes the world is changingC
But Death remains the sameL
It takes man away from LifeK
The only meaning he knowsH
And usually it is a sad businessH
This DeathM
-
-
I d an innocence I d a seriousnessH
I d a humor save me from amateur philosophyN
I am able to contradict my beliefsH
I am able ableO
Because I want to know the meaning of everythingC
Yet sit I like a brokennessH
Moaning Oh what responsibilityN
I put on thee GregoryN
Death and GodI
Hard hard it s hardP
-
-
I learned life were no dreamQ
I learned truth deceivedR
Man is not GodI
Life is a centuryN
Death an instantS
