Desire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDEE FFEG HHHH

Root of desire is a simple thoughtA
Fanned by many an afterthoughtB
Thought is what makes a manC
It can build or ruin a manC
-
Fulfilled desires bring peaceful momentsD
As there are no desires in those momentsD
Desires fuelled by emotionE
If not fulfilled can lead to depressionE
-
Idle mind is devil's workshopF
It is here desire grows its cropF
Desires have brought in many a revolutionE
Men with ambitions have changed nationsG
-
Desires can be ended with a flip of mindH
That much control we should have on our mindH
Desires without attachment can never waiver the mindH
Desireless mind is tranquil mindH
